Spinnerbait- These are “V” shaped wire baits with a blade on one end and a hook covered by a plastic skirt on the other. When cranking these, fish mistake the flash of the blade for a school of scattering baitfish. Spinnerbaits are a great starter lure because they are easy to use and can catch a wide variety of fish. Try steady retrieves, stopping and starting it you can even pull (rip) them!

Terminator Ball Buster Buzzbait- Is perfect for topwater fishing. The bait disrupts the water as your crank it fast along the top of the water. Bass can’t resist the noise!

Strike King French Quarter Quad Shad- It has 4 blades offers lots of flash and vibration.

Terminator Double Willow Spinnerbait- Great lure to provoke the strike

Plastics- Plastics, just like the name implies, are molded into shapes such as, worms, baitfish, lizards etc. To keep things simple we’ve chosen a couple types of plastics. These are good baits for the beginner, because they’re simple, easy to use and effective. Finally, plastics can be used in a wide variety of situations.

Storm Wildeye Shad – Can be effective with either a fast or slow retrieve. Twitch your rod to make it look wounded!

Storm Rattle Craw Tube Like other plastics, can be used with either a fast or slow retrive. Twitching your rod with this, will cause eratic movement.

Walkin’ Worm Kit- Attach it to your hook as shown in the instructions. Cast it out, count to 10, pull your rod toward you, and count to 10. Repeat the process. When you pull the rod, the worm straightens out. While your counting, the worm is rolling back up. Pretty cool huh?

What I’ve mentioned above will work for the beginning or weekend angler. Purists might disagree with some of our selections, but we wrote this for the person that wants to learn how to fish or wants to pick up some information they can easily apply without spending hours on the water learning tactics.

Where can I find the fish?
